T20 miniPCI ethernet pinout

#1 Post by Timoti » Fri Jul 27, 2007 5:53 am

I decided to switch my miniPCI modem card to a modem/ethernet combo. Bought a used card from an online auction site, based on the Realtek 8139C chip, exact board brand/name unknown so far.
It has a 2 pin modem connector, just like the original Agere modem, and a 4 pin ethernet plug. Since the T20 has a 12 (or 14) pin connector and uses 10 wires, i don't know how to connect it.
Guess i should look up the pinout of the card, and find out the pinout of the cable, get a 4-pin plug and re-seat the wires in it.
So, any ideas about the pinout of the T20 or how to do it?
Thanks in advance!
Timoti

I did the same thing with my T21 (should be the same on your T20). I installed a 3Com modem/ethernet combo card, FRU 09N9774. I had no problems with the connections or the pinouts of the 2 connectors. They just plugged right in.

That would be nice, but this one's not a 3Com. Good old google told me it's from a Fujitsu-Siemens Lifebook C-series.
Anyways, it looks like this:

Sorry for the crappy quality, i only have my phone camera right now...

That's exactly what i was looking for. Thank you very much!

Now i only have to figure out the 4 pins on the card and get a connector for it, but that shouldn't be that hard (i hope).
