Restore T30 Manual and "Thinkpad" button

#1 Post by syrenab » Sat Aug 11, 2007 10:12 am

My T30 was invaded by virus. I have used T30 Recovery Disc to successfully restored operation and Win XP, but I have lost the use of the "Thinkpad" button which brings up the manual and numerous other useful functions (all lost).

Any suggestions how to restore these function?

BTW, all files in separate partitions where unaffected by virus and subsequent restore operation. One more proof how essentail it is to use partitions for all personal data!!

You should be able to specify the thinkpad utility by using the method below. I'd tell you where to find it, but I don't have my laptop in any running condition right now, so I'll let someone else deal with that if you still need it.
