and i thought my day couldnt get worse, my T20 is acting up, it keeps crashing now that ive put in the new updates and installed all of the required IBM software, i got a non bootable partition error a few minutes ago but it seemed to fix itself. now when the monitor turns off it crashes. freezes up and the laptop powers off.
i think i will reinstall the old CPU tomorrow since it's been acting up since i got the laptop.
thats interesting, the processor is designed at 900Mhz, but the reported frequency is 234Mhz?
Mobimeter is jumping between 200 and 233, the temp is 53 celcius.
It was stuck running at 700 Mhz earlier, it's a 900Mhz processor
i restarted the computer, ran CPUID and now it is running at the 900Mhz range, the first time i ran it it was running at 843 with the bus at 124 and the CPU speed was supposed to be 700, i ran it again and it reported correctly.
Whats going on with this computer?
