My uncle has a T21 with 800MHz processor. I've got a couple of processors - a 900Mhz and a 1GHz that I'm considering to use to upgrade his system.
If I put those in, will I have to upgrade the T21 heatsink too? The standard T22 heatsink that came with the 900MHz CPU looks very similar to the T21 counterpart. But can T21 heatsink handle either 900MHz or 1GHz CPUs?
I looked around a bit but couldn't find a straight answer.

It is HIGHLY recommended to use the T22 Fan, because it is a lot stronger. Your temps will rise without it. There is actually a recent thread, which I will try to go back and add a link to this post, that will show the heat issues that someone with a T20 was having...until the T22 fan came...
EDIT: Here it is...

I would also recommend upgrading to the T22 heatsink/fan assembly. Some time ago, I upgraded my 800MHz T21 to 1Ghz and upgraded the heatsink/fan to the T22 model. I've never had an overheating problem.
They may look similar, but there is a performance improvement.
