Built in wireless works but internet won't on my T-23?

Posting from my desktop now, earlier today I woke up my T23 from sleep mode, could not get internet to load, says page can't be found, I've had the problem before and a restart would cure it, but now after 3 restarts it still won't work, in the wireless properties box it shows I'm connected to my Linksys 802.11b router at over 95% on both bars, all my settings are where they should be, I've restarted both the routers by unpluging them with no help, I'm out of ideas, any suggestions?

Try restarting your router. By the sounds of it, your are connecting to router (95%), but router has no connection to internet.

EDIT: Is this desktop connected directly to the same router?? or is there a wireless router in between??

My DSL phone line hooks to a DSL router, then I have one network cable hooking it to the desktop and another wire going to the Linksys wirless router. The desktop has a good connection so I switched cables and that didn't change anything.

The fact that your desktop has a good connection leads me to think that the wireless router is most definitely the culprit here. Are you running any sort of security on your wifi network? If so, try disabling it and see if you can connect. If that works, then try re-enabling the security settings and see what happens.

I have had the same problem. Sounds like you have someone else with wireless in your area using it the same time you are. Happens to me once in a while. Sometimes I just reboot my laptop, other times I reboot my router, then go into AccessConnections and let it find my connection and just click on it. Usually always works.

Thanks for the input, it's working again now, I don't know what happened but a few weeks ago I installed Sunbelts free firewall and it's been working OK since, I thought that might be the problem so I turned it off. that didn't help any so then I uninstalled it and rebooted, now it works fine? Now off to find a new firewall...
