can t23 wifi XGA accept SXGA+ lcd?

#1 Post by tom lightbody » Sat Sep 15, 2007 12:58 pm

the XGA screen is bad, but being a wireless
model, the antenna is there & the little plastic
louvers. I have a flaky t21 SXGA+: can I swap in the
screen related parts?
the way up and the way down are the same (heraclitus)

Tom, it will take the SXGA+ panel, but you need the appropriate LCD cable and might be the inverter too ...
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

I've swapped over a complete T21 lid onto a T23 base without issues. Haven't tried taking out just the LCD panel and cable but the HMM says that hinges, antenna assembly and inverters are the same. Should work fine.
