Problem with thinkpad T30

Hi,
my thinkpad doesn't wake up from standby, when it is set longer.
When I press the FN Button i only hear a low blower.
When the thinkpad is set in standby and even wake up it works.
Can you help me?
Can it be the battery or the bios battery?
