paint job

#1 Post by jimp39 » Sat Oct 27, 2007 7:31 am

I removed a "sticky label" mark on the base of the laptop with thinners. The paint came off. What type of paint is it? It appears to be sort of rubbery. I tried car spray paint but doesn't look good now. Mnay thanks.

I don't believe that it is a paint that you can just go out and buy.

Since it is on the bottom, nobody will see it. I personally wouldn't worry about it. HOWEVER, if you are OCD like many on here, and it does still bother you...you can always replace the base itself, but that requires a little bit of work.

Hey Bud, I resemble that remark ;). What gave it away? Maybe it was the new Pentium III sticker I sent away for from China last week. :?
