paint job
paint job
I removed a "sticky label" mark on the base of the laptop with thinners. The paint came off. What type of paint is it? It appears to be sort of rubbery. I tried car spray paint but doesn't look good now. Mnay thanks.

Re: paint job
I don't believe that it is a paint that you can just go out and buy.jimp39 wrote:I removed a "sticky label" mark on the base of the laptop with thinners. The paint came off. What type of paint is it? It appears to be sort of rubbery. I tried car spray paint but doesn't look good now. Mnay thanks.
Since it is on the bottom, nobody will see it. I personally wouldn't worry about it. HOWEVER, if you are OCD like many on here, and it does still bother you...you can always replace the base itself, but that requires a little bit of work.
