intel minipci 2200bg (artheros) on t20 causes system lagging

My T20 has an intel2200bg in it and it makes windows lag big time and no software launches. any ideas?

it it starts after i install the drivers, it will just stop responding for about 2-3 minutes mostly when i login and when i try to launch software it will refuse to run. i cant figure it out.
