T23 White glow bottom of screen

My T23 has a white glow on a portion of taskbar, and just above it, looks like a mini sunrise. Looking for another T23, saw several on Ebay with same glow at bottom of screen. Cause?

Can't say I've seen the glow you speak of. Can you post a picture?

Might be a pressure point.

I'd say it's more of a backlight leakage issue than a pressure point. One of my T23s exhibits the same type of "glow" at the middle-bottom of the screen. It's very noticeable with the black Windows desktop that I normally use. If I tilt the screen back a little bit more however, then the glow is reduced somewhat. Here's a couple of pictures of the XGA screen on my T23:

I agree with Ray. It sounds like backlight leakage. I have this problem, except on the top of the screen after replacing the CCFL (backlight) on my X20...

And I'll third Ray and Steve. Backlight leak, for some reason, VERY common on T23s, although I've had other machines (I can remember it on my old A20m, the very first ThinkPad I've owned, vividly) that have had the same issue.

Apart from being an annoyance, I don't think it's something you should worry about, though...my opinion only.
