Will this memory work in my t30?

#1 Post by swjhay » Tue Dec 25, 2007 4:10 pm

I have an old iBook G4 that uses DDR pc2700 memory (http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts. ... 14-inch%29)
that i don't use anymore. I'm wondering if i can yank the 512 in that and use it in my T30? I have done a decent amount of forum searching and haven't found too much that relates to this particular question.

Should be no problem. The T30 requires PC2100, but those PC2700 RAMs are backwards compatible.
A T30 can take 2x 1GB just in case.

It will most certainly work. I've had 2Gb of PC2700 in my last T30, and it worked like a charm, underclocked to 266Mhz obviously.
