Hi
When right clicking on the eject icon in system tray then clicking unplug or eject hardware Windows returns an error while working with the Control Panel file C:\WINNT\System32\hotplug.dll
Another annoyance I've noticed is the backlight turns itself up 1 notch all by itself when on batt power & minimum backlight.
Anyone else experienced this?

Don't know if this works in W2K as well, but in XP Pro I always left-click on the Remove Hardware icon, left-click again on the device -to-be-removed and that's it.
See if this can help you any further: http://www.liutilities.com/products/win ... y/hotplug/
My suggestion would be to do a repair of W2K, if this problem persists.
Can't speak for the backlight problem, seems to me it should be the other way around. Perhaps minimum backlight is too dark?

Hey that Uniblue Registry Booster 2 + Ram Defrag Extreme + Page Defrag + Clean Ram & a 7200rpm HDD have got my system flying!!!RealBlackStuff wrote:See if this can help you any further: http://www.liutilities.com/products/win ... y/hotplug/
Considering they all but Reg Boost 2 is freeware, I'd highly recommend them. I also make use of Win Live One Care especially the clean up function.
