T30 Ram Upgrade

#1 Post by Edwardo » Sat Jan 12, 2008 1:37 pm

I would like to perform a ram upgrade from 512MB to 1024MB. Currently installed are (2) 256MB modules, However, I would like to max out my system to (2) 512MB modules. My system model is 2366 7U3. Is this a good idea based on the problems I've read about regarding some having a defective module slot?

You can even put in 2x 1GB RAM for a total of 2GB.
If the 2x 256 works fine, you don't have the memory slot problem.
If you do, then you can still put in 1x 1GB.

You might need to update to the latest BIOS to use a 1GB stick.
