problem with the networkcard

#1 Post by rbi » Fri Feb 01, 2008 5:21 am

My T23 2647 2T* got the problem with my networkcard builit in. There is question mark in the device manager and when I restart and it says the LAN Adapter configuration was corrupted or was not initialised. The boot agent can't continue. What should I do now? Many thanks.

Find out which LAN adapter your machine has.

Intel, 3 COM, whatever...

Then go here:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... eLenovo.do

Go to drivers and support..Type in your machine model, etc...

Find the driver and download the driver...

Uninstall the driver you now have and then install the new one..

Re-boot...

See if that works...
1 T23 1.13 Mhz.SXGA+..512 RAM..Built in Wireless
1 T23 1.13 Mhz..256 RAM...
1 600e that now a 600x(500Mhz) with 256 RAM
1 600x(500 Mhz) with 327 Ram
1 600x upgraded to 600Mhz with 256 RAM

Unknown T23: 2647-2T*
If you have a built-in wifi card, take it out, and see if she boots then.
If it's the modem/wifi combo card, they occasionally do die.
If you get another internal card, you will lose the modem facility, as there are no newer combo-cards available.

Try a PCMCIA card temporarily to keep you going.

I tried and it is very weird that next time when I turned on the pc and the driver is still the old one and the new one seems not installed. Too weird. I remember that when I let the T23 stand by and sometimes it keeps waking itself up from time to time.
