Client service for NetWare?

#1 Post by lemmerdeur » Sat Mar 01, 2008 9:19 pm

Does anybody know what program is Client service for NetWare? It has dissable my auto logon for XP. It says:« Client service for NetWare has disable the welcome screen and fast user switching. To restore these feather you must uninstall client service for NetWare» Will it affect some other program if I do that? Also, on logon, I have to type administrator in the user name box to enter windowsXP. How can I correct that too? When I go to add and remove program, I don't see client service for NetWare.

I found what it was. It is my Atheros card that had that program. I went to control pannel, Network connection and Atheros property. Under general, unchecked the Netware client and reboot. Now everything is running smooth. I was abble to change the way I logon after that.

If you are the only user, get the TweakUI Powertoy from M$
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/down ... rtoys.mspx
That has a few easy options to improve running XP, as well as logon modification.
