T42 LCD in T23

Hey everybody! As the title suggests, is it possible to pull the SXGA (1440x1050) LCD from my dead T42 and install it into my T23? I'm just curious because the remains of my T42 just sit there unused. If at all I could make use of it that would be great! Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, no....it won't work. I wish that it would because T4x LCDs are cheaper than T2x LCDs. For the record, T2x, T3x and T4x LCD are not interchangeable outside of their series...though I have heard that an R40 LCD will work in a T2x...but I am not sure.

Awww. I had a feeling it wouldn't work but figured I'd make sure just in case. I suppose now I should take the time to part out the T42...

Why not just replace the LCD? costs less then $ 100.00

I know for a fact that LCD from R30 fits perfectly into the T23 because I've done the swap. It's worth to take a look at the connectors on them, it's actually pretty easy to open LCD assembly.
