One more happy T30 user

Hello everybody,

Recently I got hold of some T30 machines. I was so impressed by them that I decided to keep one as my backup/lend-out/temporary replacement machine. Googling the net, I quickly found the HMM & drivers pages, and also this forum.

After reading around for some time, I found all the info I needed to upgrade my machine (latest bios & ecp, HDD upgrade, memory upgrade -no bad slot-, intel2200bg & no1802, dvd writer shipped in).

So, a "THANK YOU VERY MUCH " is more than earned for all posters & moderators of this forum.

I still have some issues, but I'll post these in separate topics.

It's been kinda quiet in here for a while so I thought I'd jump in and welcome our newest member. Like you I found this forum when I scored my T30 and have been very satisfied with with level of interaction of it's members--with the exception being my recent post "0210 Stuck Key Error" which has gone virtually ignored

Seriously though we're glad to have you. Read the stickies and use the search functions prior to posting and you'll find that the T30 is well documented. I also wanted to point out how lucky you are to have one of the few T30 without the bad memory slot. Too bad about your battery lock though...there always something
