#1 Post by shadow1972 » Wed Jun 25, 2008 9:46 am

I have a friend that has a ibm thinkpad t30 and i wanted to know to restore to factory settings. I called ibm and they told me to press f11 on bootup but nothing happensand it boots right into windows. I'm stuck. Need help.

Welcome to our Forum.
If you have a Restore partition on that T30, you would see the Option F11 at bootup. If it's not there, go into the BIOS (press F1 at bootup), and see if you can activate that option, to show F11.
If that does not work either, you may not have a restore partition.
You'll then need a set of T30 XP-Pro Restore CDs to reinstall from scratch.
I can supply you with a copy of such a set.
PM me if you are interested.
