T20 Acting up.
T20 Acting up.
Well, I just refurbed an old T20 I got of eBay with new parts, but it's been acting rather unusual. Firstly, the CMOS doesn't keep the date and time stored, even though I've got a new CMOS battery. Secondly, it doesn't boot with the AC adapter in, and that's new as well, and finally the mouse cursor goes on the wander from time to time. I'd be really grateful for any help and thanks in advance!

As far as the CMOS battery, I've seen motherboards where the 2-pin connector that the CMOS battery pigtail plugs into, had developed broken solder joints on the motherboard. You may want to check that area of the motherboard and touch up the solder connections.
