Welcome to thinkpads.com!

A couple of things about the wireless card. Not sure if the T30 BIOS has an entry to enable/disable the wireless system. I know that the T4x systems do, so check there first. Secondly, what exactly is the wireless card you have installed? It appears that the T30 has a "whitelist" of approved cards:

The problem with the jerky window being moved around could be too much Windows XP eye candy being used. One of the things that comes to mind is the "show window contents while dragging" option. This is controlled via the Display Properties/Appearance/Effects menu.

Also, go to the IBM/Lenovo website and D/L and install the T30 drivers.
Change the Product Code (TYPE 2366-xxx as per label on the bottom of your T30)

IBM Thinkpad T30 WIFI 26P8520, or similar Card 802.11b or Compatible internal original IBM PCI card
is exactly what ebay listed and the part number is that one the bottom of the card I dont see and names other than intel

I dont even think that the bios even knows the card is ther

Just checked the bios screens on my T30 & there's nothing listed.
