T23...Can't find the model???

I scored a sweet deal on a T23 with wifi. But for some reason, it has no type or model info?

Obviously, the first place I looked was underneath, but it only has the type number (2647) no 3 digits after it to narrow down the description.

So then I tried to get it with the auto detect feature from Lenovo. But it came back with - No products match 'TP-1-A___'.

Then I hit F1 on start up to get into the Bios set-up and the System unit serial number & the System board serial number fields were both blank.

I just finished updating the BIOS & embedded controler, and thought it was weird that I couldn't identify the computer?

Could it be that at one time this computer was repaired and a new chip installed, wiping out the original info? It was an E-bay purchase.

Sounds like the board was swapped and the machine numbers never updated...and, given the rest of the story...my guess would be that it was done on purpose...
