USB flash memory on T20/21

#1 Post by littleslash » Sun Dec 07, 2008 10:54 pm

Whats the largest USB flash drive you can use on a t20/21?
The reason i ask is that i bought an 8gb and neither the T20 running XP or the T21 on NT want to know its there.
They both show my smaller 128mb and 512mb drives.
Help

Any size USB flash drive should work.
However, there are lots of fake USB-sticks around, that were formatted in a special way to SHOW a large capacity, but are in effect a stick with a much lower capacity.
Maybe you are the victim of one of these scams?

By the way, Windows NT does not support any USB!

Have you tried it in a PC?

It does show as 8 on a pc, i did try that. I have to admit to not trying the smaller sticks on the T21 to see whether they worked on it or not. I was already doing this. :banghead:
It never showed as a drive at all, not even a smaller one.
Thanks

The T2x series only supports USB1.1
Maybe if you try a PCMCIA USB2.0 adapter, it might work.
