TV out on T 2x and 3x series

is the tv out connection located on the back of the unit an s-video connection? Is it audio and video or just audio?

First off, I must admit I haven't found a S-video cable
and tried it myself, but I mean to. The answer to your
questions should be:

Yes, it's an S-video port.

Yes, it's video only, audio connection needed (for
some reason IBM's directions call them "optional").

you have an S-Video on the back - and it works nicely (watched many movies from my formar T30)
for audio you have the phones jack

you have everything you need to watch movies on an external tv
