T series LCD assembly

can a LCD assembly from a T23 series mount onto a T21 without dissasembling the whole LCD assy?

The answer is yes, very easily, another T series comes back from the dead.

You'd have to dissasemble the lid ONLY if you got one with the built in wireless antennas some T23s had, as they'd have to be removed in a T21. To swap lids you'll need to remove: the keyboards, the hinge covers, the keyboard bezels, the hold down over the LCD connector to the motherboard, the hinges (6 screws). Easy job but study the manual first.

No problem in swapping a T23-wifi-lid over into a T20/1/2.
You just replace the T20/1/2 modem/NIC combo with a wifi card, and you have a wifi T20/1/2!

Gain WiFi but giving up wired ethernet card is not much of an upgrade. I would just use an USB or PC Card WiFi NIC.
