T30 vs T22

Is the card slots on a T30 the same assembly as that on a T23
I somehow broken the bottom eject button on the T30
And have a spare T23 base I can tear apart
Im trying to avoid the disassembling of the T30 to confirm

No, they are different. The T30 cage has a large circular stamping on top and T2x has a thin cross bar on top.

Ron, I'll send you a T23 PCMCIA cage, AFAIK they should fit in a T30 without much (if any) hassle.
Just PM me you address again, I seem to mislay this everytime

Or try your own T23 cage first...

Put the two next to one another.
Three of the screw holes match exactly. Seen from above, they are top right, bottom right (next to pushbars) and bottom left.
The eyelet 3/4 on the top left could be bent away or cut off.
The crossbar over the top on the T30 is irrelevant.
The extra "ground lips" on the T30 are unimportant, the T23 has only one, which could be cut off.
If you can live with only 3 screws, the T23 cage would be a viable alternative!
