USB 1.1

I have posted so many topics here. Probably that means I should get a brand new laptop. Anyway, I just wanted to know if there is a way to upgrade the T30's 1.1 usb port to a 2.0. Do I have to do some software or BIOS upgrades or what??

There are two ways that I know of. Get a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card, or get a new laptop.

Agreed on the two suggestions.

I have the 2.0 PCMCIA USBs.

Work great! However the card gets very hot and for some reason reverts back to 1.1 speeds. Sometimes- not all the time. It's probably just my card or the heat has something to do with it. I usually just use it to connect my flash drive and transfer or receive files then disconnect.
