hi all,
new forum member, and this is my first post! i did try searching the forum, but had trouble finding clarification, so here goes.
i own a t21 type 2647-9bu and have tried to gather the information i need about replacement parts by reading the hardware maintenance manual for my model. it seems that very specific part numbers exist for the t21; the part numbers for similar parts on a t20 & t22 are not the same, even though the parts look similar, and most ebay sellers proclaim that t20 & t22 parts will work on a t21. thus, i'm confused about what to do: buy specific t21 parts or buy t20 & t22 parts and use them instead?
i'm looking for a keyboard bezel--mine is cracked and broken is several places, and also a base cover, as my exhaust fan duct is all cracked and broken, and it just bugs me!
does anyone know if i can use t20 &t22 replacements on my t21 or not.
thanks in advance for all replies...

T21 replacement part confusion; please help!
Re: T21 replacement part confusion; please help!
Hi, and welcome to our little forum.
I have never owned a T21, so can't really give the definitive answer to your question, but I do have a T20 and T23 and the parts are interchangeable between the two. In fact, the T20 I'm writing on now has a keyboard and palmrest/keyboard bezel on it from a T23. If there are differences, I don't see them.
EDIT: Just realized, it's only the keyboard from a T23 that I have on the T20. The palmrest is original to the T20. Sorry. My comments above are not accurate.
Maybe someone else, with more experience than I, can chime in here and clear things up, but I say any of the T2x series parts should fit your machine.

For the keyboard bezel/palmrest, see the post Harryc referred to.
The bases for a T20/21/22 can be used on all 3 types. (A T23 base will NOT fit.)
I could sell you a brandnew T20/21/22 keyboard bezel and a used good T20/21/22 base for $22.- shipped to CONUS.
PM me if interested.
