T22 and Memory

#1 Post by Tony.Yarwood » Sun Sep 06, 2009 3:34 pm

Hi all

Sorry to bother you all with this. After reading the sticky thread about memory for the older T's and after much searching I found this;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

It sure looks like the real deal :) I was hoping somebody more knowledgeable would kindly just have a quick look.

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards

Tony

Looking at the Kingmax part number on each individual memory chip, it appears that they are 16MB devices, with a 4K refresh spec. As long as there are 16 of them on the module then that would qualify as "low density" memory suitable for the T22. The auction description, "Memory particles 16 LOADED", seems to indicate this fact.

Hi Ray

Many thanks for giving it the once over. As I said, I spent quite a while looking for this, what I did find amazing was still how expensive some firms are, eg;

http://www.offtek.co.uk/ModelData.php?s ... (2647-xxx)

Like around $100 for a 256Mb !!

Many thanks again for your time and trouble.

Best regards

Tony
