Trying to Warm boot a T20 with BOD problem since I don't want to do a complete shutdown.
Problem is I have issued the Restart command, Log off command ,so many times that I think it is caught in a vicious circle. Now I cannot even invoke the Task manager to see what's going on. Is there any all-powerful command say from the command prompt that will supercede all the previous commands and do a warm reboot. I do not seem to have the shutdown.exe command anywhere on my hard disk, (just as an example of a command from the command prompt.) If I do shutdown the machine it takes at least a day and a half for me to power it back on because of the BOD situation. Any suggestions ? OS is Windows 2000 with SP4.

Shutdown.exe is the only way I know of to force a shutdown or re-boot from the command line. Check your c:\windows\system32 directory for that executable.
