Question for T23

#1 Post by ambientscape » Fri Feb 26, 2010 3:03 am

Hey guys...I plan to upgrade my hard disk as currently its running on 60GB which is going to DIE anytime. What is the maximum capacity the T23 can swallow? Besides that, I wonder any of you using the THINKPAD utility software for this machine? Like the Battery Maximizer, etc...
-Thinkpad T23 1.2Ghz (2647-4RG) with Docking Station (2631)
-512MB RAM
-60GB Western Digital HDD
-3Com X-Jack Wireless A/B/G
-Imation External Combo DVD/CDRW
-Windows XP Pro SP2
-External 160GB Maxtor HDD

I am using the regular Thinkvantage Power manager on my T23's and it works fine. There is no limit to the drive capacity for T23's. The issue is that you won't find a 2.5" IDE laptop hard drive greater than 320GB made by any manufacturer.
