Software Cleanup

#1 Post by newyorkpaulie » Sun Mar 28, 2010 3:23 pm

Is is OK to remove MS Service Packs 2 & 3 once they've been installed? I'm trying to make some room and these boys take up a lot of space.

You can create a lot of free space by going into the Windows directory.
Make sure your Explorer shows hidden and system files.
In there you can delete all subdirectories beginning with: $NtUninstall...

I burned mine to DVD, just to have a backup in the unlikely case...

Then I deleted them from the HDD.
