T22 maximum hard disc size

My T22 has a 160 Gb hard disc, but as I'm running out of space I'm thinking about fitting a larger capacity disc. Can you fit a 250 or 320 Gb hard disc in a T22? Clearly they will physically fit, but I don't know whether the T22 will access all the capacity.

There is no limit as long as it is a 2.5" x 9.5mm laptop IDE hard drive.

But the largest currently available IDE/PATA/ATA-6 2.5"/9mm HD has 320GB capacity.

Thanks for the info. I've decided to buy a 320 Gb drive, and if needed I can put my older 160 Gb drive into a USB caddy and access this for extra capacity.

I would really like to have a T60 with flexview screen but these don't have particularly large hard discs so I would ideally fit a replacement hard disc, but this will push the cost out of my budget.

The T60 uses SATA hard disks, which are available in many sizes, incl. 500GB and 750GB.
A 1TB HD is probably already lurking somewhere...
