If he was trying to install the 64 bit flavor of any of those OSes with an x86 only CPU, it wouldn't get past the bootloader to install.
I have seen a few instances where immediately after the install and first reboot, the machine gets "stuck" at the Starting Windows screen for 1-2 minutes before moving on. It only does it once, so I'm not sure what it doesn't like...
Where exactly does it freeze? CMOS to defaults change anything?

it finishes copying files and install updates, then installation restart laptop and it freezes on booting, on first logo show.
i have tried load cmos defaults, no help.
Are there any USB devices connected during the boot that freezes?
Can you boot in safe mode (after the installation is done copying files)?
