IAQX10M QXGA display attempt on T60
I've had a IAQX10M kicking around for a while after getting scammed finding a QXGA LCD for my T60. The IAQX10M is the desktop version of the IAQX10, the QXGA LCD that came in the R50P. My understanding that the reason that the IAQX10M couldn't be used with the T60 was the thickness, obviously, and the fact that it lacked EDID.
I took the EDID chip off of a broken T60 xga screen I had lying around, and after cutting some traces on the IAQX10M's own control board, soldered the ground, 3.3V, clock and data lines to their proper places on the LCD connector. unfortunately It didn't work, no picture. Am I missing something here, has anyone else attempted something like this before?

AFAIK desktop LCD panels run at 5v, while laptop panels run at 3.3v.
You should check the datasheet.

Re: IAQX10M QXGA display attempt on T60
I used this datasheet, which says that all control logic runs at 3.3v https://www.beyondinfinite.com/lcd/Libr ... AQX10M.pdf
Now that I'm looking closer though, it could be that the traces that I cut need to be reconnected to 3.3v after the cut. I assumed that all 3.3v rails are connected on the motherboard.
also this website it extremely useful for looking up specs to different older LCDs.

Hi @Sunshine701c,
On my quest to look around for IAQX10M and T60 I come across this thread, I would love to know the outcome at the end on your attempt.
Thanks in advance.
