I have downloaded - several times, the above manual from Lenovo but cannot get my HP Photosmart Prem to print the 6mb file. I am using a MacPro but apparently, there is no spooler in OS-X to feed the printer's small memory. I have obtained a pdf splitter and dropped it to several 1mb files but I am beginning to think that this file is locked against printing. is that possible.?? I really would like to buy a hard copy of this manual if there is anyone producing them.
I bought this T61 for my wife and I have purchased ram chips to increase it to its max of 4gb and I know how to do that. However, I do NOT know how to change out the HDD.
thanks in advance for any help.

Connect that printer to your wife's T61, install Foxit Reader (instead of that RAM-hogging Acrobat Reader) and print away from within whatever Windows version is on the T61. Mac? :x
The HMM is here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail. ... MIGR-67760

NO KIDDING!!
However, I would still like to have a Hard Copy of that manual. has anyone ever tried printing it off??? My HP PSmart Prem has no problem printing small books .. as long as it has paper and ink. BUT, it just will NOT print a page of that Hardware Maint Manual!!!

thanks for the url above. I have changed out the RAM and see NO problem with the HDD but am having difficulty finding a sub 200gb SATA I HDD for the T61. I put one in my T41 several years ago but today, they all seem to be much higher speed and capacity.
thanks again to all

the T61 uses a SATA 2.5 inch hdd with 9.5 mm thickness, you can use any size of the platter hdd of that specification in the ThinkPad T61, i have a 500 gigs Seagate in mine T61.
