One might spend $100 on such an item, or perhaps the following alternative will suffice:

You could probably use a U.S. keyboard and transfer the key-caps from your russian keyboard too. I believe mechanically and electrically they are compatible, only the software settings determine what function each key performs, but please research this yourself as I'm no expert on russian keyboards.

If you want a US keyboard, I have one and could deliver it to the post office for $20 plus the cost of postage. I'm not exactly sure how much shipping would be if you need it shipped from usa to russia, but I could check. Send me a PM if you would like my help.

That should be true only if the manufacturers are the same. There were three different manufacturers for T6x keyboard - NMB, Alps and Chicony. The caps are not compatible between different ones.

I believe you may probably a little easier find what you are looking for if you refer to Keyboard service part numbers - ThinkPad T61 and T61p (15.4-inch widescreen) which point to the folllowing three russian-layout keyboards for T61/p's: ALPS: 42T3227, Chicony: 42T3291 and NMB: 42T3161 - the same FRU's are also listed in Keyboard service parts - ThinkPad T61, R61, R61i 14.1inch widescreen and Keyboard service parts - ThinkPad T61 and T61p (14.1-inch, 4:3 LCD's). If you read the thread T60 Keyboard Comparison (with embedded pics) you will find that many ThinkPad'ers prefer NMB keyboards over ALPS and Chicony.

Where then to find one of those keyboards, then? I just tried at IBM/Denmark online parts sale and there the ALPS (42T3227) is in stock at DKK 302 (approx. USD 55). To my surprise however the IBM/US online parts sale does not list the 42T3227 as available - try call them, and ask why not?

PS: With reference to the post this post keyboards for T6x and R6x ThinkPads (4:3 format LCD’s as well as widescreen models) and also between Z6x and T/R/W400/500 are interchangeable.
