T60 euro kyb?

#1 Post by dwilsonfl » Sun Nov 20, 2011 12:22 am

Got this machine and it has a weird kyb. Euro symbol on the 4 key, very small left shift key, I canot figure out how to get it to make the "at" sign. It sits above the quotation mark but no combination of keys including Alt Gr will bring it up.

what do I need to do?

Thanks,

David

It seems like you have a machine with the EU keyboard layout.

How the keys respond depends on which layout you have installed in the operating system. In the US English layout, it is Shift+2. I am not sure where it is in other layouts, but you should just be able to select the layout of your choice in the regional/language settings.

Load the keyboard drivers for UK-English and you will be all set.
If you don't like that KB, and it's in good condition, maybe we could swap?
PM me if interested.
