Replacing Thinkpad R60 display with T60 Flexview display

Hi - I have an aging R60 with a 15" display that is starting to go bad (i.e. got a vertical line, a couple of dead pixels, etc). It would be really great if I can replace that display with a Flexview one from a T60. Does anyone know if that is possible? I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance.

It is. You may do either the SXGA+ or UXGA. It's a straight swap in both cases. I have the SXGA+ in my R60e.

Many thanks! Now if I can only find one from a forum member...

Post a WTB (Want To Buy) ad in the forum's Marketplace and I'm sure that someone will come to your rescue...

I don't know what you're looking to spend or which screen you want, but a few forum members have had good experiences on the UXGA LCD with
this seller.
