Quick question about DVI adapter on advanced mini-dock

Just double checking before I make a purchase. On the advanced mini-dock the DVI input is 24+1 correct? I've looked at several pictures and it looks like 24+1 (female) but I just want to be sure that I have that correct and that its not something like 24+5.

Overview: TV doesn't have any DVI inputs, and I don't want to use VGA. So in order to use the docks DVI output I'd have to use a 24+1 DVI male (which would connect to the dock's 24+1 female input) to HDMI (female) adapter.

Does that sound about right?

It's "24+1" (DVI-D). Your plan sounds fine.

In case you're having trouble sleeping, you might find it useful to know that the extra pins over on the right side on "24+5" DVI-I connectors are for carrying analog video signals i.e. for DVI->VGA adapters/cables. The output on the 2504 Advanced Mini-Dock is a dual-link DVI-D output. Single-link DVI is limited to 1920×1200@60Hz -- dual-link is required to go beyond.

Thanks Jeff.
