14.1" T60p or 15.0" IPS T60?

So I'm in a dilemma.
T60p with FireGL and 1440x1050 or regular T60 with 15" IPS screen and Ati X1400?
Anything other than those two parameters don't matter so what do you think?

It depends on the preferances. If you are specifically not looking for the CAD oriented VGA card or 14.1" unit, then I would most definitely go with 15.0 IPS.

If the T60p with 1400x1050 is a 15" machine, that screen is also IPS.
Only 15" have IPS.

I know that, but for sure it's not IPS. It's just 14.1" SXGA...
Now a new offer came to me - T60p with broken 15" (1600x1200) screen. Would the 15" (1440x1050) would fit, and what would be needed for the replacement? Flashing of the EDID or it's plug'n'play?

I have one of these screens in the marketplace if your interested, the price is very reasonable too, or if you want a brand new 1600x1200, realblackstuff is selling some, if you hurry there may still be one left.

OK, Finally got a T60p with quite good extras.
Anyway previously it has gotten an 15" (1600x1200) IPS screen which is not working.
Could I replace it with and IPS screen from T43 - 15" 1400x1050, with the chip mod adviced in the other thread.
the exact numbers of the "new" screen are
IDTech N150P3-L01 15" 1400x1050 IPS.

So to finalize the thread:
The screen started working from right after the EDID reflashing.
In my opinion any screen with an EDID chip could be used on a T60/T60p system.
I'm still feeling quite strange because everything worked fine after the first try.
