T60 + external LCD problem

Hello,
It is the first time I have plugged my beloved T60 (WIN XP) to external display. While it sees the LCD, it doesn't send any signal to it, neither via dock, nor internal VGA port.

I have checked the BIOS and software settings, and everything seems just right. The LCD also works both for mine X60s and T43. Does anyone faced such problem?

Is the BIOS setting Boot Display Device set to: VGA + LCD?

Yup,
Also the graphics card settings are set to LCD as 1st display device.

Sometimes you need to press Fn-F5 a few times before the external LCD comes on.

No effect clicking a couple of hundred times fn + F5 as well as fn + F7.

Reinstalled the OS but still no effect.
I would suspect my VGA output, but the external LCD won't work on dock as well!

What do the X60 and T43 have in their BIOS Display settings?
Default: Boot Display Device = Analog(VGA), which is an external display.
Try that.

Remove adapter and main battery.
Check the fuses around the VGA port.
Look at the first post in the X60 forum for what fuses look like and their values.
Measure with a multimeter set to Continuity/beep when OK.
If no beep replace by piggyback soldering a matching fuse on top of the old one.
