T61's screen randomly goes black for a second

Hello... I have t61 and the screen flickered black for a second a few times. It happens once or twice a day - the screen goes black for a second and resumes operation. I'm with intel's integrated x3100 GPU. The temperatures are normal. Is a driver/power manager/bios issue, or my motherboard is about to die? Using XP Sp3.
