For a 14.1" wide T61 board.

Is there a FRU or part number for the black stickers on the motherboard, which covers the chips. After cleaning a board with electronics cleaning solutions because some of them had dust on them, now they wont stick back correctly.

These are the black ones under pcmcia slot , near the battery around the video chip etc..

See pages 219 & 220 of the ThinkPad® T61, R61, and R61i (14.1-inch widescreen) Hardware Maintenance Manual - I think they known as Insulation sheets which appear in: Base miscellaneous parts (Insulation sheet 1, system board & Insulation sheet 2, system board)- FRU:42W2421 and System board miscellaneous parts - FRU:42W2417.

In case anyone ever finds this thread later looking for how to deal with the plastic stickers on motherboards, this is what I do: I carefully remove them BEFORE working the board and stick them to a piece of wax paper. The wax paper will keep them safe but leave enough adhesive to reattach them
