T61 BSOD just after plugging in LAN cable

T61, LAN works when rebooted, wireless always works. Once the laptop is taken to wireless only, then the Ethernet cable is plugged back in, it BSOD right away. The BSOD dump is a general Stop code that doesn't point to a DLL to even give me a clue?

Any help?

reinstall your LAN driver ?

could also check the power options for the LAN adapter
