Thank you for nitpicking.

Not sure if it's the flash update, but here are my results:

FPS Low: 32
FPS High: 39

T60p, T7600 CPU, ATI 5200, Win7 ultimate 64-bit, 4GB Ram (3GB Usable), 14.1" SXGA+ 1400x1050, Flash ver 11.3.300.262.

Quick update: I replaced my T7600 CPU with an overclockable T7600G. At first I got it to run stable at 17x clock multiplier vs the 14x standard for the T7600. Later that locked up and I had to fall back to 16x. Others claim to run stable at 18x so I need to figure out what I am doing wrong. Also upgraded the cooling system using most of the tricks suggested on the forum but it still gets wicked hot (90°+) so more work needed there.

Results: At 17x I got a solid 30+ fps in my test with my screen resolution of 1600x1200. At 16x I'm getting 28-30 fps. So, overall performance is as expected and just sufficient for what I needed, especially since I usually end up presenting on a HD TV monitor which forces my resolution to something like 1400x1050 and performance is much better at that lower resolution as we have seen earlier in this thread.

It's possible that you're not doing anything wrong. Different units may have different overclocking potentials.

Drat. You are right, of course. :(

I will take solace that with the changes I made I doubled my T60p Flash Graphics performance. It is now fast enough for my current purposes. Much thanks to all the forum members who shared their wisdom and guidance.

Some graphics performance could improve by about 10-15% (e.g. rendering 3D), but in the end it's all relative.
If OP wants to squeeze the last drop out of the CPU, he stands a better chance with C2D.

Don't forget that the Core 2 line are 64-bit, while the Core line are only 32-bit. Then again, you should stick with 32-bit windows since you can't use more than 4GB of RAM anyway thanks to the chipset.

ThinkPadophile wrote: My machine fits the bill: T7200, V5200 GPU, 3GB RAM, Windows 7-64, Catalyst 10.2. I averaged 19-20 FPS, occasionally getting as high as 21 or as low as 14.

Edit: I should have added that these results were obtained with the laptop docked and displaying to an external UXGA monitor. Presumably the results would be better if I displayed to the laptop's UXGA screen.
My results are identical, with the 19-20FPS average. However, my machine has a T2500 (Core Duo @ 2.0GHz,) 2GB of RAM and an SXGA+ screen, but is otherwise the same. Also, according to Process Explorer, opera's plugin wrapper IS using some GPU http://prntscr.com/e5918/direct Perhaps those with integrated graphics could test this as well?
