Well....I was cleaning my T61 yesterday.
When I sprayed cleaning spray onto the kayboard, I sprayed a little to much and it all got under the keys.
I dryed off as much as I could right away and everything worked for about 30 minutes, until suddenly the keyboard stopped working....windows is making that "beep sound" whenever +3 kays are pushed at once....same at the bios screen:
Making the beeping sound indicating multiple buttons being pushed.
None of the keys are "physically stuck".
So I figured thaqt it must be something under the "rubber pice" of the keys.
I removed the keyboard and dipped it in clean water with "fat remover". (im such an idiot)
Well....I let it dry and the keyboard started working again for a little.....I had to push a little harder onto the buttons though. But after another 30 minutes it stopped working again....the trackpointer stopeed working too....after 1 hour trackpoint and some keys worked again and I let it sit over night and now (morning) its making the beeping sounds again...Im at school and the keyboard is sitting under the hot texas sun outside my backyard at home.....can I save it???
It was a brand new OEM Lenovo keyboard... :(

Oh boy. How long did you allow your keyboard to dry before you began to use it again? Normally I believe the sufficient time to dry a wet or keyboard that has been submerged in water is 1 or 2 days- outdoors.

I just came back from school after leaving the keyboard 12 hours under the sun....well.......the trackpad works again, but its buttons and other keys dont.... :/

Is there a possibillity, that the motherboard got damaged????

That is a likely possibility. The trackpad should work normally because it is separately connected to the motherboard apart from the keyboard. Your latest post was yesterday so if the keyboard still has not responded in a normal manner by now you may want to place an ad in the marketplace forum here for a replacement keyboard. If a different keyboard responds in the same manner then you most likely have motherboard damage.

The bad keyboard can stop the touchpad/trackpoint functions. They all connect like USB devices and, depending on what is shorted, they can be flooding the USB hup with signals. Try a different KB.
