T61, upgraded from T7250 to T7800. Should I get 90W adapter?

Hi everybody.

Upgraded my 4 year old T61 from a T7250 CPU to a T7800 CPU. Works great.
But during benching I noticed that the CPU multiplier went down after a couple of seconds of benching.

Unplugged the power adapter and the multiplier went straight up.
Today I'm using a 65W adapter. Would the 90W adapter correct the issue?

I'd recommend a 90w, unless you're planning on carrying around the adapter there isn't really any benefit to the 65w which only advantage is it's size. The 90w are pretty cheap, I have some for $16 (usd), but it might be cheaper to get one local due to international shipping.

Hi TuuS,
and thanks for the quick response.

I'll get a brand new 40Y7663 for approx. $93 USD locally including shipping.
