T61P Windows7 Pro, Agility 3 SSD slow performance
T61P Windows7 Pro, Agility 3 SSD slow performance
Specs:
T61P
Windows 7 Pro
SSD: OCZ Agility 3 120GB
Have installed the SSD, and for getting rid og the typical "1 minute hang", I have patched the registry, so it is possible to set the vaulues for the Harddisk, AHCI Link Power Management - Enable HIPM and DIPM
(http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/17 ... -dipm.html).
When benchmarking the SSD I get very poor performance on small files read/write (tested with ATTO and AS-SSD), and the system still tend to hang for a minute when testing.
Hope someone have a suggestion to get the SSD run smoothly.

Have you done a clean Win7 install or was the installation cloned from a HDD?
Have you updated the SSD's firmware? I have the same SSD as you in my X200s with Win7 Ultimate and have so far no problems at all.

Current firmware is 2.22 according to the OCZ Forum. You can download the latest version from here, I have chosen the Linux based tool, which creates a bootable CD that does the installation.
You can also check the OCZ forum itself... http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/
Hope this helps...

Re: T61P Windows7 Pro, Agility 3 SSD slow performance
Have upgraded the Agility FW to 2.22 (and the Lenovo Bios to 2.30).
Until now it seems to be stable (for the last 24H).
Thank You for your help.
