T61 BIOS Password

Hello,

I am looking at buying a T61 Cheap (only £50), it has a unknown BIOS password, can this password be removed?

The laptop has not been stolen or anything, it was from a office clearance.

Well at 50 pounds it's still less expensive than a Fortress FX-7 anchor

That may very well be, but the problem is we have no way of knowing, which is why bypassing password discussion is not allowed here.
