loose audio jack T61

#1 Post by hoax32 » Sat Aug 25, 2012 9:26 pm

hi community!
Im shure most of us know that the T/R61 has it's audio jack's at the front.
I think thats a pain and sometimes i lightly bump against it and freak out.
i know that the rollcage supports the audio jacks but im still really nervous about using headphones or my Logitech BXR1221.
I also noticed that my headphones go in much easyer into the audio jack than into the mic jack....also both jacks wiggle when i move them a little - both work fine it's just that im worried that the solder might be damaged.

Has any1 everdealed with broken audio jacks on T/R61?
Also is wiggling normal when you apply little force?

TY!!

Hm, my audio jacks are on the left side

And I notice the same thing recently - the headphones jack started to go out much easily than before (the reason is the countless times plugging/unplugging the jack, I guess). I kinda solved my problem by using this cheap audio card (you can see it on the picture as well) - it's available on amazon for just 2$ -> http://www.amazon.com/Virtual-5-1-surro ... audio+card and it's been working flawlessly for more than a year :)
